Before you hit the field
FIRST TIME?
YOU’RE GOOD.
The quick answers for players, parents, and party planners.
How old do players need to be?
Traditional paintball is for players ages 10 and up.
What should I wear?
Wear older, comfortable clothing because you may run, crawl, and slide. Long sleeves and jeans are recommended. Bring a spare change of clothes for after the game. Paint is washable, but old clothes are best.
Does paintball hurt?
Paintball impacts can sting. Good-quality paint is designed to break on impact. Follow the staff safety briefing and wear all required protective equipment.
How many people do we need?
You can play as a single walk-on player and join public games, or bring a group and book a private party. Weekday reservations require a group of 10 or more.
Can I bring my own paintballs?
No. Predator Paintball is field-paint-only. Use the field-issued, approved paintballs available at the park.
What happens when I arrive?
Complete the waiver (online ahead of time or when you arrive). If you are not with a party, check in and pay at the front office. Staff will provide a safety briefing and rental gear if needed. Wait for a game announcement over the loudspeaker before heading to the field. Party groups will be directed by their coordinator.
What about food and drinks?
You may bring your own food and drinks. The park also has a snack bar.
What equipment is provided?
Rental packages include the equipment needed to play, but paintballs are not included unless you choose the package with 500 paintballs. See the Prices page for walk-on options.
How do I book a party?
Use the online booking link on the Parties page, or call (210) 695-4030 to discuss weekday and corporate events.
